The History of Larry’s Plumbing

Co-owner and Master Plumber, Larry Combs was born in Kentucky and raised in Northern Virginia, he has been active in plumbing since 1988. His family’s history in the United States Military led Larry towards the same path for the beginning of his adult life, enlisting in the U.S. Navy at the age of 21. His career in the Navy brought him to Yorktown, VA. Larry went on to be involved in Law Enforcement as a police officer with Newport News and the Town of Warrenton before starting Larry’s Plumbing in 2017.

With over 30 years of plumbing experience, Larry started the business because he had a passion for the industry, as well as for helping people. His driving force is his protective nature, always ensuring that his customers are well taken care of and providing support outside of just plumbing services. Larry believes he was called to serve people in a greater way and plumbing allows him to build relationships with those who need him.

In the early 2000s, Larry met his wife, Gina Combs, at a local 7-11, they were married in 2004. Together, they share six children and a growing number of grandchildren. The Combs family currently calls Gloucester, Virginia home, with their dogs, cats, turkeys and chickens. Now that their children are grown, the couple focuses on operating their business, being active in the local community, and giving their love and support to their grandchildren.

Larry has maintained a Master Plumbers License since 2006 and the business has been licensed and insured since its inception.
